P.H.P.H.M.C. van Kempen is the chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at Radboud University. He was also full Professor of Human Rights Law (2007-2011), Dean of the Law School of Radboud University (2018-2023), and Secretary General of the IPPF (2010-2023). Since 2008, he also serves as part time Justice at the Appeal Court of ’s-Hertogenbosch.
